I will confirm there are no conflict of interests preventing me from acting on your behalf.

We will agree what you require me to do, the fees for doing so, and any deadlines you require me to meet.

You will need to provide evidence of your identity so I can comply with anti-money laundering regulations. I will not normally be able to commence work until this step has been completed.

I will provide you with an engagement letter recording what we have agreed, together with my standard terms of business. The letter will include:

• what work I will do (and any specific things I will not be doing)

• the fees payable for the work

• the deadlines for completing the work

• my liability limits for any errors or omissions in the work

• the process for you to raise any concerns or complaints about the work.
